On your Career and Contribution

Asking this question will help you identify the right platform to test the skills you have, learn quickly in the new ecosystem, and figure out the skills you need to learn as you go along.

  1. What are 2 or 3 areas that I can start contributing to right away?
  2. How does the typical day of this role look like?
  3. What does it mean to do a good job versus poor jobs? Can you give me some examples?
  4. Does this job have opportunities for advancement?
  5. Is this a new position, or did someone leave? If someone left, why did they leave or what did they go on to do? 
  6. Do you have any concerns about my qualifications/capabilities/background in relation to this position?
  7. What would you like to see me accomplish in my first 6 months here?

 

On your Stakeholders
