Extraordinary Effort + Unwavering Faith = Success

It’s easy for us to judge others based on our life experience and who we are. However, think about someone you judged either currently or in the past, and consider this

If you have lived his or her life, been born with his or her brain, been raised by his or her parents, and been influenced by his or her friends there is a very high probability that you might think and act exactly like he or she does?

From that perspective, we can replace our judgement with empathy. We can accept them as who they are, while simultaneously leaving space for them to become the best version of themselves.

How do you know something you can change or cannot change?

The simple answer is you cannot change anything that has happened. You can only change your actions now which will lead to different circumstances in the future.

When you accept the past unconditionally, you let go of the regret, anger, resent and guilt and any other negative emotion that your existence has created.

When you accept circumstances that will one day happen to you, you accept life before it happens. You release all your fear, anxiety, worry.

Emotional Invincibility3 ways to accept things outside your control

  1. 5-minute rule – Kick, scream, cry, complain in 5 minutes. After that, count to 3 and say 3 powerful words “Can’t change it”
  2. The Can’t change it mantra – remind yourself you can’t change it what already occurred, what it was 5 days, 5 months or 5 decades ago.
  3. Accept life before it happens.

Your effort doesn’t always translate into success in terms of tangible results.

But it will always translate into developing yourself who can achieve your dreams now or in the future.

Human nature leads us to busy by pursuing us to pursue the path of least resistance and engage in the activity with least significant consequences. We send an email when we could be more effective making a phone call. We watch Netflix when we could be reading a book.
